Colectica in Ithaca for the 2017 North American DDI Users Conference

Colectica will give two presentations and a workshop about DDI-Lifecycle metadata software in Ithaca, NY April 4th to 7th for NADDI 2017.

Colectica is pleased to announce that its staff were selected to give several presentations at the upcoming North American DDI Users Conference (NADDI) in Ithaca, New York. Each year, Colectica sends representatives to the NADDI conference to share ideas and consult with other users of standardized data documentation. This year, Colectica staff will present two papers and teach a half day workshop.

A paper titled "Question Banks and Colectica Questionnaires" will be presented and will highlight Colectica's new Questionnaires tool for specifying questionnaires and linking Blaise, Colectica, and the DDI Lifecycle standard. Another paper titled "Preparing Data Files for Preservation with Colectica Datasets" will also be presented.

Colectica will also host a workshop "Document Questionnaires and Datasets with DDI: A Hands-On Introduction with Colectica". This workshop offers a hands-on, practical approach to creating and documenting both surveys and datasets with DDI and Colectica. Participants will build and field a DDI-driven survey and then ingest, annotate, and publish DDI dataset descriptions using th e collected survey data.
