Colectica 7.2 Advances Open Standards Metadata
Colectica today announced the availability of Colectica 7.2, the latest enhancement to the world’s most popular data documentation software based on open standards metadata from the Data Documentation Initiative. The new release of Colectica provides the most stable, accurate, standards compliant, and enterprise ready research data documentation software available. The support for DDI, ISO 11179, GSIM, and the GSBPM found in Colectica 7.2 are based on research community best practices from Colectica users in countries around the world.

- An updated Elasticsearch integration
- A newly rewritten Explore view on the Portal
- Additional content from the new DDI 3.3 metadata standard
- A revamped Workflow Services with integrated steady state management
- A Portal difference viewer between DDI items or versions
- Over 175 new features and improvements in the changelog
A new release of Colectica Reader, the free viewer for DDI data documentation, and Colectica for Excel are also available to the general public.
