This latest version delivers major advancements across the Colectica Repository, Portal, Designer, Questionnaires, Workflow, and SDK, further strengthening metadata management, interoperability, and usability for researchers and data professionals worldwide.
The new release of Colectica provides the most stable, accurate, standards-compliant, and enterprise-ready research data documentation software available. Colectica 7.7 builds on research community best practices and introduces full support for the DDI Codebook 2.6 schema, expanded localization in German and French, powerful new metadata mapping tools, and enhanced export capabilities.

Colectica 7.7 continues to uphold the ISO/PAS 25955:2026 (Data Documentation Initiative, DDI) standard, ensuring seamless metadata interoperability across platforms.
