Design Questionnaires
Colectica provides a visual survey instrument designer. Using a structured designer enables simple re-use of questions and other instrument constructs. The questionnaire designer also makes it easy to track the versions of your survey and questions.
Colectica’s questionnaire designer allows you to visually design your survey by dragging questions and control constructs from the toolbox. Several types of items can be used in your surveys.
- Question
- Just as you would expect, a question is used to collect data from a respondent; Colectica supports several types of questions
- Statement
- Represents a statement to be printed on paper or read by an interviewer, but that has no data input associated with it
- Sequence
- A sequence of items to be executed; this can be used to group items into logical components, such as screens for a computer-assisted interviewing system
- Conditional Branch
- A conditional branch contains a sequence of survey items that are executed when a certain condition is true
- Loop
- A loop contains a sequence of items that may be executed multiple times based on certain conditions
- Goto End
- An instruction that indicates the survey should end immediately
